Summary
The Director of Acquisition Marketing Strategy reports to the Vice President of Acquisition & Field Marketing and will shape the cross-channel acquisition strategy for new retail Schwab clients working with a broad group of stakeholders from sales, to digital channels, to traditional marketing channels.
Responsibilities
* Develops acquisition marketing strategy and consults with acquisition marketing team to support development of strategic initiatives: * Uses data driven, goal oriented approach to develop strategic multi-channel marketing programs * Acts as thought partner and mentor to team members in creating strategic, insights supported, plans for new marketing programs and initiatives * Synthesizes insights and creates actionable recommendations: * Makes acquisition insights actionable * Develops a deep understanding of our target investor’s mind set through information gathered through marketing research and the field * Conducts data analysis and partners with analytics team to develop acquisition reporting:Develops internal communications and presentations that are delivered to cross functional teams, the field and senior leadership to socialize team strategies, results and programsDevelops internal communications and presentations that are devlivered to cross funtional teams, the field and senior leadership to socialize team strategies, results and programs. * Leverages data, insights, and research to explain the acquisition marketing story and achievements
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of 7 years’ experience in business/corporate strategy, marketing analytics, partner marketing, or product management required. * Bachelors degree required. MBA preferred. * Ability to translate complex and varied inputs including market data, market research, competitive positioning, clients insights, and more into actionable programs that drive new to firm growth * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence cross functional partners and up through senior retail leadership * An adaptive, self-starter who can make significant progress with minimal direction * Intellectual curiosity * Attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines with little supervision
