Summary
As Airbnb continues to expand our business globally, we continue to look for the best and brightest to drive strategic business decisions. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations this highly qualified Senior Manager will be responsible for understanding marketing impact and providing actionable and strategic insights to the marketing leadership. S/he will be responsible for deploying and managing both internal and external resources to define marketing strategy and evaluate marketing performance. This individual should have a deep understanding of web analytics, attribution, and tracking methodologies, and offline marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
* Develop KPIs & goals and own reporting for brand marketing performance * Partner w/ FP&A on strategic financial allocation * Manage quantitative research efforts across teams & external vendors including: * Evaluating campaign effectiveness * Forecasting business results and provide media mix optimization recommendations * Driving a culture of testing and innovation * Lead consolidation and management of data sources into a real-time intelligence platform * Determine the tools, automation, and processes needed to scale analytics with business * Clearly communicate key findings and insights, and provide clear, concise perspective * Stay informed on marketing landscape, including research and emerging trends * Lead and develop a team of analysts
Ideal Candidate
* 10-12 years of marketing analytics experience * Strong analytical abilities with both quantitative and qualitative data, including developing identifying key trends in data and reconciling data across various sources. * Hands-on working knowledge on media platforms from Adobe, Google, 3rd party data providers, DMPs/DSPs highly preferred * Familiarity of marketing data and service providers (Nielsen, comScore, etc) * Operational proficiency with marketing research tools * Experience handling, interpreting & manipulating raw data sets * A working knowledge of fundamental marketing research statistical analyses appropriate to multi-channel marketing and campaign ROI * Comfort working with and influencing senior level stakeholders & colleagues * Proven ability to effectively lead and develop a team
