Summary
Under the supervision and direction of the Service Desk Lead the System Administrator I will provide support for customer incidents, service requests, and changes on workstations, mobile devices, and related hardware. Documents work, fix actions, and known issues in an incident monitoring system as well as create and modify processes and procedures to ensure requirements are fulfilled in an efficient manner. Provides hardware and software support of workstation in accordance with security guidelines and approved baselines.
Responsibilities
* Provide assistance to customer requests via phone, email, in person or other automated process keeping them informed of progress and fulfillment or resolution of the request. * Assists in performing all account lifecycle management to include creation, modification, and removal of user accounts and groups, on multiple platforms, devices, and enclaves. * Installs, upgrades, configures, tests, maintains and supports operating systems, applications, and other software packages in a production environment. - Monitors system status, log files, and tools to determine system performance identifying issues and trends. * Troubleshoots and resolves basic level system hardware, software and communications problems and aids in performing configurations and adjustments. * Understanding of Microsoft Windows 7 and 10 operating systems * Maintain professional communication with the customer and team members by phone, email, or in person * Run queries and generate reports to leadership and assist in identifying trend
Ideal Candidate
* Requires associate degree in information technology and one or more years of related experience. (put one or more year and took BS to AS degree) * Be willing to work shift work to include nights, weekends, and holidays * Ability to work on computer for long periods with minimal supervision * Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and SharePoint * Ability to lift up to 35lbs * Customer service/service desk experience preferred * ITIL V3 Foundations understanding preferred
