Senior Front End Web Software Engineer

Work in the IT Development department, Web Applications group to provide and maintain highly specialized web based and service-oriented solutions and other applications. Work independently and collectively in the evaluation and design of new user interfaces and services as well as support current applications and systems. Manage projects and represent the Web Applications group in planning sessions with other groups and departments within the company. Prioritize tasks and assign trouble tickets to software developers, and monitor to ensure timely and accurate completion. Provide technical leadership to software developers. This is demonstrated through proactive mentoring, structured training, and professional development for yourself and software developers. Provide highly specialized management in the design and implementation of new tools and technological solutions along with assisting manager with the development and enforcement of software development standards. Work with customer-facing and back-office end users for UI design. Position may include supervisory responsibilities. Provide on-call support when needed. Respond to System Support team with escalation requests in a timely manner that ensures customer satisfaction. Track issues from production support to ensure long-term resolutions are achieved. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a complex, dynamic technical environment. **Systems Analyst I, Web Application - Education/Experience:** * Baccalaureate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent education plus several years of work experience in software development, system analysis, and design required. * Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, lifecycle methodologies, practices, and procedures within the software development field is required. * Software development experience and ability to effectively troubleshoot system problems is required. * Working experience with Java, Spring Framework, JSON, REST, SOAP, SQL, GWT, XML, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS experience strongly preferred. * UNIX and Windows operating system experience expected. * Experience developing front end web based applications required. * Ability to effectively troubleshoot system problems required. * Excellent oral and written communications skills required. * Background must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively within a complex, dynamic environment. **Systems Analyst II, Web Applications - Education/Experience:** * Baccalaureate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent education plus several years of work experience in software development, system analysis, and design required. * Extensive knowledge of commonly used concepts, lifecycle methodologies, practices, and procedures within the software development field is required. * Extensive software development experience and ability to effectively troubleshoot system problems is required. * Extensive experience with Java, Spring Framework, JSON, REST, SOAP, SQL, GWT, XML, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS experience strongly preferred. * UNIX and Windows operating system experience expected. * Extensive experience developing front end web based applications required. * Ability to effectively troubleshoot system problems required. * Excellent oral and written communications skills required. * Background must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively within a complex, dynamic environment.
