Summary

This marketing leader will be responsible for all of the planning, development and implementation of brand marketing strategies, product portfolio management and marketing activities for the Bolthouse Farms Business Unit, which includes fresh carrots (branded & private label), super premium beverages, ultra-premium beverages and refrigerated salad dressings. This leader will inspire & guide a team of 8-10 marketers to generate strategic & tactical revenue drivers for the largest business unit within the C-Fresh Division. While this role reports directly to the C-Fresh Division CMO, it will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the President/General Manager of the Bolthouse Farms business unit.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for building and developing a team to drive accelerated category growth by leveraging best-in-class brand management capabilities.
  • Deliver business revenue goals for the annual plan and 3-year strategic plan by:
  • Developing overall brand & portfolio strategy based on consumer insights and in-market data
  • Implement brand strategy via marketing levers: product, packaging, communication and distribution
  • Developing line extension strategies and launching successful product innovation suites
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to help execute strategies and provide information to help other departments
  • Inspire, develop and coach individual marketing professionals to maximize their abilities and together become a high performing team
  • Identify & implement opportunities for marketing department improvement (training, processes, etc) to continually raise the bar for the team
Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum of 10 years of brand/product management experience in food CPG.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Ideal candidates have both a traditional CPG background and experience in a smaller, more entrepreneurial/challenger brand environment.
  • Previous experience in a flavor-driven category like beverages is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience leading teams.
