Senior .NET Developer

* Support and improve a custom e-commerce platform written in C# .NET 4.0 MVC 3 and SQL * Support and improve a series of custom distributed applications which manage order fulfillment and inventory management, written in .NET, ColdFusion, and SQL * Create and maintain WCF services and other supporting applications * Write performant SQL stored procedures and propose database designs as required * Follow best practices to build maintainable, scalable applications and services * Coordinate with business users to gather requirements * Manage multiple priorities and projects to achieve business needs on time * Continually develop skills to stay current with best practices and technologies * Actively participate in ongoing design and architecture discussions * Provide mentoring and architecture/development advice to other members of the team

Technologies/Competencies * Microsoft-stack development: .NET, C#, MSSQL, IIS, MVC/Razor view engine, WCF * T-SQL or comparable relational database development skills * Software * Visual Studio 2010 and up * TFS ticketing and source control * Front End * HTML 5 * CSS 2.1/3 * JavaScript/jQuery * Mobile development * UX * Familiarity with SEO and web analytics a plus * Familiarity with WPF/MVVM a plus * A passion for technology and programming * Self-learner and willing to learn new skills and tools on the job as needed. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to succinctly convey technical and logical questions and answers * Highly organized * Ability to creatively solve problems and find solutions to challenges
