Software Engineer for Computer Vision / Python

We are seeking a Software Engineer and a Senior Software Engineer to join our Media Intelligence team. This is a brand new team that we are launching in August- you will be in on the ground floor of this team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and management of our AI-enabled products for our video platform. These products use machine learning to analyze uploaded videos using facial and image recognition to classify each video. This allows our platform to become faster and more useful to our customers.

* Build features for the product that improve predictive analytics for the users and videos. * Join an agile development team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We work in two week sprints and conduct typical daily standups. * Be responsible for bringing these products into production- eventually scaling and supporting them once they are deployed. * Work with the data science team to write software that will analyze facial recognition. * Conduct code reviews.

**What are the technical must-haves for this role?** * Several years of experience with Python. * Experience developing data science and AI-enabled products which you have brought into production. * Experience working with deep learning tools and libraries such as Tensorflow, Keras, and Torch. * Knowledge of Computer Vision. * Image and video processing experience. * Experience working closely with Data Science teams and a comfortability in a collaborative environment. * Unix and Linux skills. **What are some of the plusses?** * Experience building large scale systems in AWS. * Experience building a deep learning module. * A background in video compression. * Knowledge of big data tools like Spark, Hadoop, Hive and Presto.
