Summary
Provide support to the plant operations performing a variety of cross-functional duties.
Responsibilities
* Load and unload pans from production line * Stack and unstack pans * Load and unload oven and/or proof box. * Dump waste buckets * Assist with other positions as assigned by supervisor. * May fill in for absent positions in production or packaging areas and transfer into those positions * Take appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the food safety and food quality system. * Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring. * Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the QMS system and other 3rd party audits. * Other duties as assigned by management
Ideal Candidate
* High school diploma or GED equivalent. * Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred. * Able to communicate and work effectively with all employees * Able to work in a fast-paced environment and must also adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line. * Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, stack, and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc. * Have the ability to stand and/or stoop for the full shift. * Willing to work irregular and/or rotating shifts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed required to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather). The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat or cold (non-weather), and to rapid changes in temperature. The employee must be able to tolerate a work environment that contains flour dust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can get loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk; and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
