Engineering Quality Analyst

AppNexus is looking for an exceptional analyst to join our Engineering Quality team. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining automated functional tests as well as participating in adoption of automated testing discipline within the larger engineering organization. While the day to day doesn't require coding, you will learn about pattern matching languages and techniques and how to debug complex systems like the AppNexus platform. You will work closely with the Engineering Quality Manager and other team members to achieve the objectives listed below.

* Build and maintain a coherent set of automated functional tests that will ensure automated regression testing of the scaling AppNexus application suite * Work with a cross-functional team to build automated tests to support new features and isolate defects * Promote adoption of the AppNexus Functional Test Framework within engineering department and throughout the company, under the direction of your manager * Collaborate, as needed, with Product and Engineering teams to refine and enhance process and criteria for creating automated tests

**About your skills:** * BA/BS degree and 0-2 years of experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and an exceptional ability to collaborate on and off of your team * Experience developing in a dynamic programming language such as PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Javascript * Experience in automated regression testing is a plus **More about you:** * You are passionate about a culture of learning and teaching. * You love challenging yourself to constantly improve, and sharing your knowledge to empower others * You like to take risks when looking for novel solutions to complex problems.
