Ancestry is looking for an experienced Front End Web Developer. The ideal candidate will be a user interface expert and will have the ability to take detailed mockups from the Design team and turn them into CSS-based web pages. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team working on a new and innovative product. * Appreciation for design, usability, cross-browser compatibility concerns * Object oriented Javascript application development * Serve as the resident expert for all CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and other front-end development related questions and issues * Javascript patterns and best practices * Experience with DOM manipulation libraries such as jQuery * Experience with Angular, React, and other modern MV* frameworks * Semantic HTML/CSS with proper separation of concerns * Templating libraries such as handlebars/hogan * Modern CSS3 techniques * CSS preprocessors (LESS/SASS) * Front end build tools (Grunt / Gulp) * Experience with GIT * Experience with Java Spring MVC * Experience with continuous integration/build tools (Jenkins, CruiseControl)
