Responsibilities
  • Own department budget, perform forecasting, financial modeling, and trend analysis to drive decisions
  • Monitor total capital, spend, and headcount against annual budget
  • Present analysis and recommendations to Senior Management
  • Identify continuous improvement and best practice opportunities, design and implement tools and processes to facilitate standardization of work
  • Perform project management for Process Development and Device Technologies continuous initiatives
  • Contribute to setting team goals and take a leadership role in ensuring team deliverables are met
  • Develop and monitor department performance metrics related to the budget
  • Assist with department procurement management (operational expense, capital equipment, vendor qualification and onboarding)
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, methodologies and best practices
Ideal Candidate

Basic Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree
  • Master’s degree & 3 years of Project Management and/or Business Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree & 5 years of Project Management and/or Business Management experience
  • Associate's degree & 10 years of Project Management experience
  • High school diploma / GED & 12 years of Project Management and/or Business Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in business management, engineering, or science
  • Experience in the industry of combination product, device or drug development and commercialization
  • Basic financial and project management acumen
  • Knowledge in product development and design controls
  • Solid understanding of success in a matrix environment
  • Ability to engage different personalities
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Self-confidence and self-motivation
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Capability to multi-task while consistently delivering high quality results
  • Customer focused with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience with systems for sharing collaborating
  • Strong MS PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Word, and Visio skills
