Summary
Work Life Consultants provide personal and family assistance to members and their families for a variety of needs including child care, elder/adult care, and daily living needs. Assistance includes consultation, assessment, education and resource referrals.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for delivery of worklife consultation and informational services to participants. * Assesses needs through targeted questioning, suggests options, and research resources based on participants needs. Obtain required demographic information * Provides resource referrals, and coaches individuals on how to use resources to handle various life and work situations. * Follow up with participant to ensure needs are met * Provide case management services when applicable * Appropriately documents member interactions and research/case fulfillment in case management system. * Ensure all data entries are complete and accurate * In addition to completing telephonic intakes and research & referrals, the consultant may be asked to participate in additional tasks. * Our consultants work in a fast-paced environment and are expected to maintain high quality and top customer service

* Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills * Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills * Work well in a team environment * Excellent organizational skills * Must be able to prioritize work and be resourceful when working on cases and on special projects * Needs to be flexible and work autonomously **Additional Job Information** * This is telework position * Work hours may vary (based on work location and business need) * Travel may be required for training. * High school diploma/GED, and minimum 3 years' customer service/telephonic experience * College degree and 1-3 years experience in social or human services field (case management, educational, behavioral, healthcare setting) preferred * Experience working with diverse populations * Knowledge and /or experience in Employee Assistance Programs helpful * Good knowledge of local family care resources/facilities * PC and MS Office proficiency are a must.
