Software Engineer in Test

The adMarketplace test engineering team is responsible for prototyping, coding and productionizing test frameworks for different applications, working closely with the developers to ensure test coverage and handling the big picture integration to ensure all our components work in concert. The ideal candidate is a software engineer, comfortable integrating code with multiple tools/frameworks, and has a desire to build dev and test infrastructures across our entire organization.

* Participate in writing test plans and test cases * Work with development to discover and diagnose bugs, and ensure that enhancements, bugs and change requests follow the established life cycle * Perform manual testing when needed * Develop new frameworks and maintain and improve existing test frameworks using Java, Javascript or Python * Use container technologies like Docker to create dev/test environments * Ability to communicate efficiently across teams * Comfortable understanding different technologies * Ensure that software meets performance and quality requirements

* 3+ years experience in software development or test automation in Java * Experience building test frameworks to perform API testing * Experience in CI/CD ideally using Jenkins * Experience working in Linux OS * Familiarity with JIRA, Maven, Eclipse IDE/IntelliJ IDEA, SVN and shell scripting is preferable * Experience working in an agile software development team * Able to troubleshoot and analyze software issues and identify root causes * Able to manage multiple deadline-driven tasks * Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player * Assertive and resilient with an honest, ego-less approach * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience **Nice to have:** * Knowledge of pay-per-click advertising and search engine marketing * Familiarity with AWS and Microservices
