Our Sony team currently has an opportunity available for a Premium Home Audio/Video Territory Manager This position will execute retail strategies and action plans with assigned territories to fully leverage the Sony Brand. The role is responsible for working with owners, managers and installers to increase sales of Sony products. Strong selling techniques and building strong relationships are pivotal in this role.
Responsibilities
* Travel to specialty retailers within an assigned region including specialty AV stores, custom integrators of high-end audio, and installation service providers * Engage in sales relationships to grow sales of Sony ES products within existing dealers, as well as, acquire new dealers * Effectively communicate vital information to Sony management regarding store owners' and sales associates' needs, feedback and suggestions * Conduct formal training classes both in-person and virtually through online systems * Participate in key consumer shows, i.e., Photo Plus, CES, PMA as directed by Sony * Perform site visits with key Sony staff
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. In lieu of degree, must have 4-6 years retail experience **Experience Required** * At least 3 years of outside sales experience or 3 years of customized audio/video sales and installation experience * Experience setting up complex audio and video systems **Knowledge/Skills** * Ability to install Control 4, Crestron, Savant, Lutron and AMX control systems preferred * Excellent presentation skills * Strong negotiation skills needed * Excellent planning and organizational skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel * Must reside in a centrally-located area within the assigned territory * Must have a valid driver’s license as a company vehicle is provided * Must be able to travel 75% - 80% of the time away from home market
