Summary
We seek an experienced learning and development professional to join our Corporate Headquarters Human Resources group in our Evanston office. Reporting to the Learning & Expertise Development HR Manager, this individual will be responsible for global design, development and management of foundational curricula strategies including cultural onboarding, broad technical skill development and firm-wide methodologies required for new hire integration. This person will partner with the Learning Solutions Deployment (delivery) team, including program managers and instructional designers to develop and deploy effective global learning solutions.
Responsibilities
- Shape and support the learning “user experience” for assigned ZS audiences; - Design learning curricula and courses for new hire audiences with specified learning objectives; - Identify best deployment options of curricula firm-wide; - Meet Training Quality and Activity measurable targets for assigned courses; - Develop evaluation and assessment strategies that identify and predict learning gaps; - Provide learning analysis and consultation that resolves and prevents learning gaps; - Manage, establish and execute a reoccurring course audit review process to ensure all learning solutions are impactful.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred; - At least 3 years professional experience in learning and development, with a focus on curriculum strategy development and assessments; - Ability to design and develop learning solutions using a range of modalities; - In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation methods; - Strong task and project management skills with experience coordinating and implementing new hire curricula; - Excellent project management skills; - Experience partnering with business leaders in a consultative and partnering role; - Experience collaborating or managing instructional design teams to develop learning solutions; - Ability to proactively and continually collaborate with project team members and distributed stakeholders to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate deliverables; - Confirmed ability to analyze problems and solve them creatively; - Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
