The Market Research Analyst will contribute to growing our understanding of current and potential customers as it relates to customer acquisition and retention. Major responsibilities include: working on all aspects of our qualitative and quantitative audience research including determining methodologies, designing research plans, implementing research projects, and delivering findings & recommendations that address key business issues. This role supports business partners by providing actionable, relevant insights that inform decision making.
The successful candidate is passionate about internet marketing as well as marketing & consumer research, learning about all aspects of the Zoro business, and collaborates well with others. Our aggressive growth goals mean that their day-to-day responsibilities and projects can vary greatly—which means more opportunity for the candidate to make an impact!
- 1~2 years’ experience in a hands-on market research role required, preferably for an in-house Customer Insights department or Market Research firm
- Experience designing, executing, and analyzing primary quantitative studies
- Experience conducting qualitative research
- Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral/Social Sciences, Communications, or Market Research required; Master's Degree is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation creation skills
- Elementary knowledge of SQL helpful, as is experience using SPSS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
- Exposure to and familiarity with UX research a plus
