Summary
We're looking for an awesome Product Manager to help build advertising features into our existing product suite. This is a new, yet critical aspect of our product that requires end to end ownership. Very little existing structure and process exist.
Responsibilities
* Full life-cycle product management (from strategy/concept development to tactical execution). * Define, prioritize, and implement features we use to determine to whom, when, and how aggressively we show ads on our site and app. * Develop our ad network inventory acquisition strategy. * Identify and review potential ad partnerships. * Work with our all-star engineering team to implement and roll out new ad features. * Write clear and concise requirements, user stories, prioritize development items, and coordinate schedules/milestones with Design and Engineering teams. * Work closely with Business Intelligence/Data teams to monitor and proactively identify opportunities for product enhancements via analytics, trends, and user behaviors. * Measure and report results, track bugs, and define areas for constant enhancement and optimization. * Prepare effective written correspondence and present information to management and executive staff. * Research and identify new opportunities for Zoosk to further distinguish itself as a leader in the dating space.
Ideal Candidate
* 2+ years experience building ad products on both web and native app platforms. * Experience using Google DFP, MoPub or similar. * 2+ years of direct experience working on consumer-facing products. * Extensive experience creating documentation including business cases, functional specs, PRDs, and user stories. * Experience with both web and mobile analytics platforms, including strong analytical ability to derive actionable insights from large datasets. * Technical/Computer Science degree a plus (preferred but not required). * Experience with agile development methodologies. * Excellent presentation, meeting leader, and interpersonal communication skills. * Strong negotiation, organizational, and facilitation skills. * Detail-oriented self-starter, capable of staying on track and pursuing solutions without supervision. * Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
