Responsibilities
- Display a passion for software development.
- Create code that is simple, extensible, testable and robust.
- Collaborate with other team members to evolve our development processes.
- Participate in technical group and design discussions.
Ideal Candidate
- Excellent software engineering fundamentals
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience or Masters degree in CS with at least 1 year experience
- Proficiency with Core Java and object oriented design
- Knowledge and experience developing data-centric, web-based applications (Apache, Tomcat, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS)
- Knowledge of and/or experience in Service Oriented Architecture
- Working knowledge and experience with MySQL, Spring and Hibernate
- Working knowledge and experience with Agile software development
- Experience with unit testing
- Knowledge of design patterns and practical applications of them.
- Excellent attention to detail
