Financial Analyst, I

This role is responsible for pre-month-end close and month-end close activities. The Financial Analyst serves as a business partner to the Real Estate Organization by providing financial analysis and assisting in the development of annual plans and quarterly forecasts. In addition, the analyst will support the creation of capital reporting packages, month end close reports, and other corporate initiatives/projects.

* Assist Director of Real Estate team and Manager, FP&A on various projects. * Support the month end close process by preparing necessary accruals and adjustment journal entries. * Contribute to the monthly results variance analysis process, identify financial risks and opportunities within the quarter, and contribute to the quarterly forecast process. * Provide assistance in the creation of managerial reporting packages (examples: departmental expense reports and capital project reports). * Perform ad hoc analysis and other duties as assigned.

* Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required. * Recent graduate or 1 year of financial planning and analysis, business analysis, accounting, or related experience in a corporate function. * Possesses a high energy level, along with a strong work ethic, and an enthusiastic desire to learn. * Has strong analytical and problem solving skills. * Has demonstrated the ability to complete tasks on time and perform well under time constraints. * Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. * Self-starter who can work independently and as a team member. * Financial Modeling, Oracle, & Hyperion Essbase experience a plus. * Experience in Oracle Trilogy and Merlin highly desirable.
