Engineer II

We are the original LTL Experts, and we intend to regain our leadership position. We’ll do it by delivering flexibility and reliability to your supply chain through our comprehensive North American coverage and broad portfolio of expedited and specialized LTL services.

Provide accurate, timely and reliable research and analysis of operations and recommendations for productivity improvements and cost reductions. Implement approved operation changes and conduct periodic reviews and audits for ensuring ongoing success.

* Coordinate with managers on objectives and determination of issues. * Conduct research and analysis of operations for improved productivity and cost reductions. * Develop new processes and formulate recommendations to management. * Implement approved operation changes and provide follow up reviews and audits to ensure continued success. * Coordinate with team member on group projects. Develop project management skills.

**Requirements:** * Bachelor's Degree in engineering. * Experience in project management or the transportation industry. * Demonstrated statistical and analytical problem solving skills. * Ability to travel a minimum of 50% * Willingness to work nights and weekends, including working in extreme cold and hot temperatures **Preferred Qualifications:** * 3-5 years experience in industrial engineering or information systems preferably in the transportation industry. * Knowledge of PC and/or mainframe computer applications.
