Software Engineer

Serve as a Junior Software Engineer on the YP Mobile Labs team, responsible for software development and operational support for our Real Time DSP (bidders), proprietary ad server, and constituent systems for campaign management. Provide operational support for YP's mobile ad campaigns, working closely with Ad Operations to ensure delivery and performance success. Design, document, develop, and test features and enhancements for real-time and web-based environments.

**Desired Experience:** * Work or equivalent educational experience developing enterprise software and/or web development * B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline (MS is a plus) * Strong coding skills in Java, SQL, and related technologies * Experience developing in Javascript/Node.js; JQuery; Angular. * Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment * Ability to communicate and work with both technical and non-technical team members * Must have a problem-solving mindset with an extreme attention to detail * Must have strong conceptual and analytic skills **Knowledge/Experience with any of the Following are a Big Plus:** * Strong computer science knowledge/background * Any experience in the Ad Tech/Ad Ops field (familiarity with ad tags) * Proficiency working in a Unix/Linux environment * Working in a virtual/cloud computing environment (e.g., Amazon EC2, Rackspace, Slicehost, Linode, etc.) * Working on an agile team (e.g., Scrum) * Programming with location-based (geospatial / spatiotemporal) data
