Summary
We're looking for a senior product manager with a whatever-it-takes attitude to drive the development of world-class consumer products in the video space. You'll provide clear and meaningful program management structure, working to define critical milestones and decision points for the overall program, incorporate input from developers to ensure that timelines are achievable, and track execution against plan. You have the technical depth to easily learn and understand data systems, platforms, and APIs. You have a strong analytical background with an ability to work effectively in high-energy, cross-functional teams. You can tailor your communication to address the needs of engineers, senior management, analysts, and product managers effectively. You proactively seek ideas for improvement and execute on them. You can negotiate and make compromises effectively, while making steady progress towards the delivery of the world-class video products we're building together.
Responsibilities
* Work with other product managers to build and ship new video products & features * Create & maintain detailed product delivery schedules * Drive program management for all video player efforts * Organize and track development team sprints * Monitor and expedite Jira tickets for priority video player issues * Manage pure technical execution projects involving security, instrumentation, etc.
Ideal Candidate
* BS in computer science or engineering, or related professional experience * 5+ years of product management or related experience with a tech company * Experience with agile development * Strong verbal, writing and communication skills * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * Superior organization and time management skills * Ability to work cross-functionally and across multiple locations * Attention to detail and follow-through
