Summary
As a Product Manager focused on new product development, you will join a mission critical team to make every day better and easier for existing and new Yahoo users by providing timely information and personalized recommendations.. You are a self-starter with a can-do attitude. You like solving large data problems and thrive on working through challenges from concept, to launch, and beyond. You are deeply customer focused and have great judgment resulting in awesome, high value products.
Responsibilities
* Analyze customer needs to define product strategy. * Build strong relationships across design and engineering teams to build and launch products. * Drive the overall product vision, strategy, and requirement to fuel user growth and product evolutions. Iterate fast and release top products! * Lead cross-functional teams in delivering quality products and making appropriate trade-offs. * Deliver advances in the product by defining the roadmap, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive offerings and how they impact consumer choices and preferences, and how they should influence the product. * Define product success metrics and analyze product performance by driving the product.
Ideal Candidate
* Demonstrated ability and experience in driving product traction via data-driven process * BS in Computer Science or equivalent * At least two years of prior experience in consumer Internet product development
