Wynn Las Vegas, a luxury hotel and destination casino resort located on the Las Vegas Strip features 2,716 luxurious guest rooms and suites, an approximately 111,000 square foot casino, 15 restaurants, a nightclub, spa and salon, an on-site 18-hole golf course, approximately 223,000 square feet of meeting space, an on-site Ferrari and Maserati dealership, and approximately 74,000 square feet of retail space.

Summary

The Product Coordinator is responsible for providing professional and courteous service to each and every guest. They will be responsible for exceeding guest expectations through positive interactive skills.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining the Wynn standards of service to guests and coworkers at all times.
  • Ensures the Wynn standards of cleanliness and appearance for all areas.
  • Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.
  • Knows and adheres to Wynn policies and procedures, embraces company culture and takes pride in the resort and amenities.
  • Understands and well versed in the resort, hotel features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities and events available to guests.
  • Attends required training classes and incorporates new knowledge gained into daily work practices.
  • Looks for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments or leaders at all times.
  • Solution oriented, avoiding conflict and gossip, stays on task and promotes teamwork.
  • Awareness of guest experience at all times, smiles and makes eye contact and communicates professionally.
  • Responsible for managing all inventory and procurement of such inventory within our standards to ensure all floral, interior and exterior horticulture elements used on a consistent basis are available on property for use at any given time.
  • Acts as a liaison with supervisors, vendors and other departments within the company.
  • Responsible for ordering, tracking and maintaining all supplies, equipment, and any necessary items within the Horticulture and Floral departments.
  • Responsible for requesting, tracking and maintaining work requests and purchase orders, as well as tracking and receiving supplies from the warehouse.
  • Evaluate needs and set up contract grow on specialty items.
  • Review supply orders and track variations in usage to maintain budget and proper usage.
  • Responsible for preparing and inputting maintenance issues/work orders into HotSOS.
  • Prepare team communications, written reports, and spreadsheets as necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain stock in all storage areas as deemed appropriate.
  • Provide feedback and communications on availability and foreseen issues per vendor with ordering trees, shrubs, ground covers, fresh cut seasonal flowers and interior plants throughout the resort.
  • Assist with the preparation of seasonal ordering and planning.
  • Maintain floral, interior and exterior horticulture plant palette integrity through ordering as directed.
  • Performs all other job related duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
  • 5 years experience in the commercial or resort horticulture /floral industry.
  • Solid understanding of fresh cut flowers, irrigation systems, arboriculture, pesticides, fertilizer, interior / exterior plant material and basic landscape design principles.
  • Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, computer and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Prior knowledge of the following systems is preferred: Kronos, MMS/Agilysis, HotSOS and Trims.
  • Must be able to work proficiently with deadlines and disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to decipher various reports and create reports upon request.
  • Must be able to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Must possess problem solving and decision making skills in a fast paced environment.
  • Candidate must be able to work efficiently within a team environment.
  • Must possess a positive, “whatever it takes” attitude.
  • Must have an open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts and ways of approaching analysis.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Candidate must be well groomed and professional.
  • Must be able to communicate English with guests, management, and other employees to their understanding. Additional foreign language a plus.
  • Must be available to work all shifts and days including opening and closing shifts.
  • Willingness to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
  • Combination of education equivalent to graduation from high school (High school diploma) or any other combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Must have a valid Nevada driver's license.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
