Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant is responsible for learning a wide variety of duties within the department in order to build a solid base for growth within the department. Responsibilities may include: manage fixed assets and debt schedules, creating purchase orders and related processing duties for capital expenditures, working with leasing companies, managing company credit card program, monthly accrual journal entries and their related account reconciliations and analysis and assisting with annual bank and financial audits.

* Month end duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, error investigation and expense analysis. * Management of fixed assets and debt schedules. * Creating purchase orders. * Working with leasing companies. * Management of company credit card program. * Training and development. * Other duties as assigned.

* Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred. * CQ or other report writing and QAD or other ERP software knowledge is beneficial. * Strong analytical, problem solving skills including root cause analysis. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment of continuous change and challenges.
