Production Accountant

Production Accountant is responsible for analysis and reconciliation of yield, productivity and inventory.

* Perform daily, weekly, monthly yield and productivity variance reconciliation and analysis. * Monitor and reconcile inventory at both the facility and outside cold storage facilities. * Assist the Plant Controller with weekly and monthly closing duties * Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by management, operations and other support departments. * Become efficient with ERP and report writing software. * Entry of certain daily inventory and labor transactions. * Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost. * Ensure compliance with all safety regulations. * Partner with all departments of the organization. * Other duties as assigned.

* 1 to 2 years of related experience is preferred. * Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent is preferred. * Previous manufacturing accounting experience is beneficial. * Computer experience - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) or Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides). * Knowledge of Kronos or other timekeeping system a plus. * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. * Ability to lead, motivate and develop others. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment of continuous change and challenges. * Must be able to work extended hours and weekends according to schedule. * Coaching and performance management experience is a plus.
