Product Manager 4/Secure Messaging

The Wells Fargo Digital Messaging Capabilities team is looking for an individual to partner with business groups to identify appropriate digital communication strategies for their products and services. This person will be an advocate for our platform and standards and will work closely with technology, compliance, operations, and line of business partners.

* Drive new initiatives and provide value as a Digital Messaging SME * Investigate new messaging opportunities and make recommendations on how to improve the existing messaging capabilities to create additional value for the customers and the bank. * Manage relationships with a variety of business units and assist them in enhancing their existing digital message portfolio and/or identifying opportunities to create additional communications. * Work with product managers to understand business priorities, resource synergies and constraints, and upcoming initiatives to manage overall Digital Messaging roadmap. * Work with operations and technical teams to research and resolve production issues. * Clarify ambiguities and customer experience based on business requirements and product objectives. * Implement enhancements and fixes to production issues through the maintenance request process. * Lead key projects from ideation to implementation. * Evaluate business opportunity by conducting market research, creating a business case, eliciting senior management support and funding approvals, and championing effort through stage gate process. * Define business requirements to meet project objectives. Ensure requirements are within standards and guidelines and meet all regulatory and compliance requirements. * Partner with business and technical teams to provide business guidance and address ambiguities. * Manage overall project scope and prioritize changes as needed to ensure project stays within budget and is delivered on time. * Partner with service teams to provide communication plan and banker talking points as needed. * Utilize analytics and reporting in decision making process * Analyze and report on the success of the product to senior management, including assisting with the development of project business cases. * Identify opportunities for new metrics or improvements to reporting. * Manage volume forecast and partner with technical teams to plan capacity.

**Required Qualifications** * 6+ years of product management experience, product development experience, or a combination of both **Desired Qualifications** * Experience in ecommerce, online banking, and/or electronic messaging * Experience in product management/development, program management, strategy, marketing and/or related position in a consumer-oriented, technology-dependent environment in financial services or related industries * Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner * Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities * Ability to gather information and create both business and technical requirement documentation * Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important * Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Knowledge and understanding of internet, mobile, and tablet technology **Other Desired Qualifications** * Knowledge and understanding of secure messaging, SMTP, and upload technologies
