Responsibilities

Manage systems with hundreds of computers running advanced, modern software
Plan for and deploy new infrastructure to meet growing customer needs
Interface with data center staff to plan and prepare for growth
Anticipate tomorrow's problems and set up proactive monitoring to avoid them

Ideal Candidate

Substantial experience with different UNIX-like systems, more=better
Experience setting up database platforms (but not necessarily a DBA)
Experience with virtualization systems
Information security experience
US Citizenship / Legally authorized to work in US

Bonus Points:

DevOps experience with Linux or FreeBSD
Security training and/or certifications
Familiarity with large scale storage systems such as Ceph or GlusterFS
Familiarity with large scale clusters
Hands-on experience with a variety of deployment / automation tools
Experience with Python, Ruby, Perl and/or shell scripting
Mac OS X familiarity
BS or MS in a technology or scientific field of study
High energy level and pleasant, positive attitude!
History of participation in organized sports (high school or college athletic teams)
Evidence of working well within a diverse team
