Senior Security Engineer

Code42 is an American software company that develops and markets the CrashPlan backup software and services suite. It was founded in 2001 as an IT consultancy.

• Review, analyze, and respond to security incidents
• Design, build, and maintain security infrastructure
• Conduct security assessments using automated tools and manual penetration testing techniques
• Define security requirements for Code42 technical infrastructure and product software
• PerformAssist with incident handling and forensic analysis
• All other duties as assigned

• 5 or more years of information security experience
• Programming experience inwith Python, Perl, Ruby, or C
• Strong working knowledge of Linux, FreeBSD, and OS/X
• Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP and other network protocols
• Strong working knowledge of software development methodologies

• Systems administration experience
• Working knowledge of Windows and Active Directory
• Experience working within a SOC
• Malware analysisanalytical experience
• Experience with identity management systems
