Java Developer

Vaco partners with clients on critical projects and strategic talent acquisitions in the areas of finance, accounting, technology, healthcare, general administration and more.

* Understand assigned applications and system architecture * Lead troubleshooting activities * Work on assignments involving the use of various technologies. * Develop software with a focus on delivering reusable code. * Mentor other engineers on the applications and system architecture. * Complete assignments on time. * Work as part of a team and work independently.

* 2+ years Java development experience * 2+ years working with relational databases of some type * Great problem solver and able to work with a diverse team * Understanding of the stock market or finance would be a major plus * Familiarity with Python and PostgreSQL preferred * Familiarity with Hibernate and/or Spring * Experience working with Javascript and Javascript frameworks preferred
