Responsibilities
* The Manager, Imaging Center has the responsibility and accountability for planning, organizing and directing all activities relating to patient care within the Imaging Center. * Responsibilities include directing the delivery of quality patient care and technologic advanced imaging in a financially responsible manner through collaboration with Radiologists and other professional and support staff throughout the department and organization. * Each incumbent is assigned a specific area including at least one of the following Imaging Centers: DCAM Outpatient Radiology, CT and MRI Imaging Centers, Adult Ultrasound Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Mitchell General Medical Imaging, and Pediatric Radiology
Ideal Candidate
* Technical certification by ARRT, or equivalent subspecialty certification of accrediting body; including but not limited to RDMS, CNMT, and R.N. Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) licensure, Division of Nuclear Safety license if applicable. * Bachelor's degree preferred in health care or business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a healthcare environment. * Four years of experience in a large radiology department (100,00+ annual procedures) * Two years minimum supervisory / management experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Achievement in developing, implementing, and maintaining successful customer service programs and improvements * Active license with IDNS; ARRT or appropriate regulatory bodies
