Structured Solutions Trader / Portfolio Manager

We are looking to add a Trader/Portfolio Manager to add to our team in Chicago. The team is responsible for the trading and portfolio management of derivative based portfolios across a range of asset classes.

• Trading of OTC and exchange traded derivatives across a range of asset classes
• Implementation and portfolio management of derivative based strategies
• Providing expert market color and insights to our investment teams
• Coordinate activities with teams across UBS Global Asset Management
• Contribute to development of trading and portfolio management systems and processes

• Experience of 3 years or more trading OTC and exchange traded derivatives across a range of asset classes is essential
• Attention to detail, accuracy and timely delivery
• Academic degree in a quantitative field is desirable
• A strong knowledge of capital markets is essential
• Programming skills (Excel, VBA, Matlab, C++, are) are desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong ability to work interactively across a large global team is essential
