Associate Director - Product Control

We are seeking an Associate Director - Product Control in the fund of hedge funds operations team in UBS Hedge Fund Solutions based in Stamford, Connecticut. This role reports to the Product Control Manager. The role is one of investment decision support, administrator oversight, compliance, regulatory and tax reporting, client reporting, management information support, treasury and FX management and product development support for our fund of hedge fund portfolios. Working within a global team of Product Controllers, this role offers candidates a great opportunity to work in the hedge fund industry, support a dynamic business, build relationships globally and support one of the premier alternative fund managers.

* Maintaining of the portfolios current and forward looking views in the portfolio management system, including booking trades and cash * • Maintaining and monitoring of cash projections and liquidity views as well as guidelines and limits * Reviewing and preparing net asset value calculations from our administrators * Reviewing valuations to make sure valuation policies and procedures are consistently applied * Reviewing and preparing fee calculations * Reconciling prices, positions, values and other assets and liabilities in the portfolio management system with administrator/custodian records * Assisting with the preparation and review of annual financial statements of our products, working with administrators and auditors * Assisting UBS compliance, and product counsel with classification and monitoring of our products and their reporting obligations * Preparing and reviewing filings and reports for multiple regulatory bodies * Reviewing and assisting with the preparation of tax filings * Preparing and reviewing of client reports and presentations, including validation of the content * Preparing ad hoc reports to support business development and RFPs/RFIs as well as preparing and reviewing reports and data displayed on the UBS client portals and website * Supporting UBS business unit control through reporting of management and incentive fees earned, assets under management and performance reporting * Assisting business unit control where required to calculate sales credits and revenue shares * Monitoring foreign currency exposures and reviewing or preparing FX Spot and Forward hedging trades * Managing draw downs on credit facilities with credit providers and investment personnel * Reviewing new product offering documents and work with administrators and auditors on product setup as well as set up in UBS systems * Setting up all client and regulatory reporting that is required

* Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance * Strong attention to detail * Excellent analytical and communication skills * Several years' experience in public accounting * CPA or experience in a finance function preferred * Hedge Fund /Fund of Funds direct work experience in a control function is a plus
