Product Manager of Identity

Twitch is the world’s leading video platform and community for gamers, with more than 100 million visitors per month. We connect gamers from around the world by allowing them to broadcast, watch, and chat with each other. Twitch’s live and on-demand video platform forms the backbone of a distribution network for video game broadcasters including pro players, tournaments, leagues, developers and gaming media organizations.

Broadcasters and their viewers rely on their identity to build thriving gaming communities. You will be responsible for a set of identity and authorization products that power hundreds of millions of users using Twitch. The products also extend outward to how our identity systems integrate with other social networks such as Facebook, Steam and Battle.net.

* Work with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements. * Build a product vision and strategy for identity and access control products. * Work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers and data scientists to deliver world-class user experiences and high-quality services that developers are delighted to work with. * Contributes, along with engineers, on technical design of products; expert in balancing customer needs with technical/architectural trade-offs.

* 2+ years experience working as a Product Manager for a consumer-facing web product. * Proven experience managing across a full product lifecycle and successfully managing multiple products simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. * Experience as a technical lead or product manager for an API used by external developers. * Deep technical familiarity with current identity provider technologies: OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, etc. * CS degree or equivalent experience. * Experience using data analysis to drive product decisions. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
