Product Manager of Discover and Watch

Twitch is the world’s leading video platform and community for gamers, with more than 100 million visitors per month. We connect gamers from around the world by allowing them to broadcast, watch, and chat with each other. Twitch’s live and on-demand video platform forms the backbone of a distribution network for video game broadcasters including pro players, tournaments, leagues, developers and gaming media organizations.

This group will be responsible for building product for our most important asset at Twitch - video. As a product manager you will be working on new product offerings to help drive overall consumption of videos. This will include expanding existing offerings on our live streaming products through as well making new forays into recorded content and other video-on-demand initiatives. You will be a key player in planning and executing a strategy to grow our video business in more meaningful ways for our broadcasters and delight our viewers.

* Improve search, build personalized recommendations and other on-site discovery to promote content. * Nurture discovery of Twitch content off-platform, by integrating with external social networks and creating new incentive structures. * Find new patterns for viewers to talk with content creators, asynchronously. * Build out new monetization methods, so creators can continue to build sustainable businesses on the Twitch platform. * Work closely with the design and engineering teams to realize your ideas * Clarify immediate-term product roadmap: create, prioritize, and support ongoing tasks * Collect and synthesize feedback on new ideas from internal and external stakeholders

**Requirements:** * Technical or deep quantitative background * Experience as a Product Manager for a consumer-facing product * Experience with measuring data and experimenting to make decisions * Eagerness to dive into details, find creative solutions and take responsibility for your projects * Great communication skills and a strong desire to learn * Respect for and desire to achieve exemplary design **Bonus Points:** * Experience with online gaming communities * Professional experience with online video * Experience with working SQL or other development languages
