Summary
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the team. As the PM for Voice Insights, you will be working at the intersection of big data, real time communications and analytics doing API design, Dashboards, planning & prioritizing sprints, defining the product roadmap and spec'ing out new features and product enhancements. Twilio’s ability to consistently deliver high-quality voice experiences at a global scale is critical to our continued growth. This senior product manager will give customers visibility into the data insights to efficiently run applications at scale. This role will require greenfield development of new products, services and tools that fit both our existing offering as well as new revenue generating products. Insights may encompass everything from real-time quality data for a single call to aggregate call metrics for a month or year long period. How to build, position, price and market these tools and insights will fall within the purview of this Product Manager.
Responsibilities
* Own the roadmap and vision for your product. Be able to communicate both the business and technical rationale behind your product decisions. * Be able to effectively engage our largest customers to understand what monitoring and troubleshooting tools would be most valuable to them. Wear our customers’ shoes. * Work closely with a small engineering team. Attend daily standups, sprint planning meetings, create mockups, etc. Our customers are developers-an understanding of the developer mindset is critical to success in this role.
Ideal Candidate
* You have 5+ years experience as a Product Manager for a technology company. * You have knowledge and experience with SIP, VOIP and networking generally. * You have knowledge and experience with Search and Analytics products in the Big Data ecosystem (Elasticsearch, ETLs, Kinesis, Spark, etc) * You are a person who thrives in a fast moving environment with a heavy dose of ambiguity. You should have experience shipping products in a fast-paced environment. * You’re hands on, passionate, and collaborative. * You have experience writing code - for fun, college, or work - is a plus. We are looking for someone with a technical bent to communicate with our engineers and engineering management, as well as our engineering-focused customers.
