About Trumaker

Trumaker is a new kind of men's apparel brand providing an upgraded product and experience through a distributed workforce of Outfitters. Outfitters provide a local personalized experience where they provide style guidance, collect customer measurements, and preferences - making re-ordering online simple without concern for fit.

Summary

The Product Development Manager will play an integral role in managing all product development for Trumaker made-to-measure, ready-to wear and accessories. This person will create a master calendar and will work with the team to develop seasonal inspiration boards and deliver all creative inspirations on time. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, leadership skills and business acumen, as well as a great fashion sense and an understanding of the Trumaker aesthetic. A positive, team-player attitude is crucial as this person will be working closely with the rest of the Product team as well as our Founders.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage annual calendar, shepherding the process from inspiration to the final product ensuring that things stay on schedule
  • Partner with the team through all phases of development, managing expectations with excellent detail, follow up and professionalism
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in project management and product development/management
  • Highly organized and very detail oriented
  • Extremely professional with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of the Trumaker aesthetic and brand
  • Ability to communicate needs and manage work product of junior team members
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a reputation for flexibility
  • Resourceful self-starter, with a can-do attitude willing and able to take a proactive approach in problem solving
  • Quick-moving and able to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Mature with excellent people skills
  • Must be kind, loyal, cooperative and work well with a team
