Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

TruCode is a privately held software company focused exclusively on medical coding solutions. Offering an encoder application, components and web services to the hospital, consulting and healthcare IT marketplace, TruCode is one of the top providers of medical encoders in the United States.

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for both Windows and web applications using automation tools and c#.
• Manage automation environments and automated test execution
• Communicate automated test progress, results, and other relevant information
• Assist test planning and test case creation by identifying tests for automation
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform manual functional, regression, integration and system testing as necessary
• Maintain test lab environment
• Assist with our internal and external on-call rotation

• Experience — working with Windows and web-based software development and testing. Strong organizational and problem solving skills with great attention to detail. You should have good analytical skills, be self-directed, willing to seize the initiative to get things done, and committed to continuous test improvement. Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus.
• Skills — this is a technical position, we expect you to be proficient in the .NET framework and SQL (Powershell is a bonus). Experience with automated test creation as well as volume and/or stress testing is a must as is a working knowledge of Windows/web application test tools / frameworks (e.g. Selenium, JMeter, Ranorex, etc.). Familiarity with web and database technologies including IIS and MSSQL is a plus.
