Production Supervisor

To provide leadership and direction for their team in the areas of quality, safety, and productivity in a manufacturing. Monitor and track production to create and submit production reports.

* Manages resources to ensure the highest production output possible on multiple teams. * Ensures consistent administration of TreeHouse Foods policy and procedures. * Acts as resource for Team Members & Group Managers on quality, production and safety issues. * Responsible for obtaining company & team goals for production. * Provides support in the execution of the Master Sanitation Schedule. * Maintains allergen awareness and protocol; ensure compliance to GMP’s and all Safety polices. * Ability to work required scheduled and unscheduled overtime. * Maintains accurate staffing levels. * Ensures proper training of all employees with proper documentation of performance. * Ensures proper and accurate reporting of all daily requirements. * To ensure constant communication with all levels of management in the areas of processing, production, maintenance, and sanitation issues. * To plan and initiate cross training of employees to expand job knowledge and add flexibility to scheduling the workforce * Contributes to food safety and quality by constantly monitoring effectiveness of programs, and developing corrective actions for existing gaps. * Responsible for reporting food safety and quality problems to the appropriate personnel, as well as follow quality and safety programs and policies themselves in order to ensure products made here meets the highest standards possible. * Maintain proper inventory control * Meet budget requirements

* A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. * Experience in a team based work environment highly desired. * An acute understanding of baking procedures and mixing operations is desired. * Strong communication skills are a must. * Must be willing to work any shift and work overtime and weekends. * Must be self-motivated. * A Bachelor’s of Science is beneficial.
