Resident Engineer, NY City

TRC is a fast growing multi-disciplined Engineering, Consulting, and Construction Management Firm that provides integrated services to the Infrastructure, Environmental,Energy, and Real Estate Markets.

We are currently seeking experienced Resident Engineers in sewer, storm, water main, sidewalk, pavement installation projects in New York City.

• Professional Engineer license in New York State required
• Construction Management Certification (CCM) is a plus
• Working knowledge of NYCDDC standard operating procedures and guidelines
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing sanitary, storm, combined sewer, watermain, sidewalk, pavement installations. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a NYCDDC Resident Engineer
• Experience in overseeing contractors, project cost, quality and schedules
• Attend, prepare and distribute minutes of meetings
• Enforce quality control standards and safety regulations
• Evaluate contractor's invoices, submit field observation reports and review contract change requests
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Team player, motivated and a self-starter
