Resident Engineer, NY City

We are currently seeking experienced Resident Engineers in sewer, storm, water main, sidewalk, pavement installation projects in New York City.

* Professional Engineer license in New York State required * Construction Management Certification (CCM) is a plus * Working knowledge of NYCDDC standard operating procedures and guidelines * Minimum of 10 years of experience managing sanitary, storm, combined sewer, watermain, sidewalk, pavement installations. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a NYCDDC Resident Engineer * Experience in overseeing contractors, project cost, quality and schedules * Attend, prepare and distribute minutes of meetings * Enforce quality control standards and safety regulations * Evaluate contractor's invoices, submit field observation reports and review contract change requests * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proven leadership and management skills * Team player, motivated and a self-starter EOE Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Disabled
