Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst II

This position will support the Insurance vertical within the USIS segment. Responsibilities will include various financial and business support functions such as; preparing various financial analyses, participating in the budgeting and forecasting process, and assisting the business with ad-hoc requests and special projects. The position will primarily interact with VPs within the business and other FP&A departments, with some exposure to executive level management within the Insurance vertical.

* Support/assist in preparation of quarterly forecast and annual budget cycle through the preparation of reporting and analysis * Communicate financial performance to respective business owners * Support respective business owners by researching questions and investigating variances on financial statements * Prepare ad-hoc reports and assists in special projects, focused to improve forecasting accuracy and provide additional business insight * Prepare profitability and variance analysis, pricing models, etc., as needed

* This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance and 2-3 years of professional forecasting & accounting experience. * Must exhibit strong analytical skills, at a summary and detailed level. * Incumbents must demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental accounting principles and must be able to apply them correctly. * Must be able to use personal computers and the software applications packages used. PeopleSoft and Hyperion Planning a plus. * Must have excellent verbal and writing communication skills. * Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as individually.
