The TRAC story truly began in 1968 with the formation of Interpool Limited. Interpool Limited was a container leasing company that provided dry freight containers under long-term leases to the world’s largest shipping lines. In 2010, following the confluence of several events, the company was again rebranded – this time as TRAC Intermodal. Today, TRAC is the largest providers of marine and domestic intermodal equipment through the United States, Canada and Mexico. We have more than 525 employees in more than 22 offices throughout the United States. Our revenue has grown approximately 20% per year since 2011. Our active fleet consists of approximately 272,000 chassis as of June 30, 2014. TRAC Intermodal has a broad operating footprint with 630 marine, 167 domestic and 59 depot locations across North America and is the leading provider of chassis solutions to the intermodal industry. By fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, integrity and innovation, TRAC has remained a leading provider of assets and services to the intermodal industry since its beginnings in 1968.
