Summary
Manage the day-to-day operation of the production, including crew scheduling, production scheduling, tracking and budgeting of man weeks. Also responsible for ensuring the projected parameters for production goals, quotas and schedule are met and/or reset as required. The Producer is also responsible for overseeing outsource/service studios such as CG Animation Services and Post-Production Service Facilities to ensure and maintain the proper allocation of departmental resources throughout the production schedule, over the course of the entire production cycle (during visual development, pre-production, and production, post-production).
Responsibilities
* Macro schedule- work with Supervising Producer using budgeted assumptions, breakdown and create a more detailed departmental schedule – Manage assigned departments/artists to ensure resources are on target – Create and analyze production reports per department and work with Supervising Producer to develop a weekly production status report – Breakdown scripts or analyze leicas to plan for new work to be produced. Schedule out work in partnership with Supervising Producer and Director(s) as necessary – Support Supervising Producer in terms of defining specific start dates for new hires. Partner with Supervising Producer (and Recruiting) to ensure start up agendas and packages are prepared for all new hires – Update and modify master schedule as required throughout production. Communicate changes to all applicable people. * Conduct a detailed review of all materials, independently as well as via organised reviews with Director/Executive Team * Provide President and CEO with activity reports on a weekly basis * Coordinate screen credits for the production’s final credit cards and main credit roll

**Required Skills and Experience:** * Proven ability in managing projects from concept to completion. Able to prioritize appropriately and always meet deadlines * Strong ability to assemble and motivate teams and work effectively with others * Strong written & verbal communication – ability to interact with and integrate requests of directors; * good at following directions * Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills **Qualifications:** * Must be fluent in English * Must have some post-secondary education * Experience in traditional 2D and 3D animation production – Minimum 7 years of animation/industry experience – Minimum 2-3 years experience in Production Management; preferably as a Producer – Proficient in MS office suites including Excel and Word
