Summary
Tile is seeking a Web Product Manager who will be responsible for leading and defining the strategy for Tile on the web, from Tile's global e-commerce website to the Tile web app and the Tile platform. This role will be a part of the product team and responsibilities include coordinating and leading activities of multiple cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Design, Operations) to complete projects in support of Tile’s business strategy.
Responsibilities
The position requires ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, shift priorities and make judgment calls quickly to ensure deadlines are met. You must have the organizational skills of a seasoned product manager, a strong sense for good web experience, and the ability to converse fluently with design and technical teams. As the web product leader, this role requires management of the entire process from definition of product requirements and capturing estimates through development, QA and launch. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency and has previous experience supporting the production of high-volume and mission critical web applications.
Ideal Candidate
* 4 years of consumer-facing Product Management experience (including at a start-up and/or growth stage company) with a track record of increasing responsibility and of delivering meaningful results. * Meticulous, highly organized, and strong task/project management skills. Experience with preparing project documentation, including detailed requirement docs, wireframes, project plans, status reports, etc. * Experience using JIRA, Aha, or other Project Management software as a daily communication and workflow tool. * Demonstrated proficiency of mobile commerce strategies * Previous experience with Content/Web Management Systems. * Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Experience implementing and maintaining e-commerce platforms and third party e-commerce applications. * Demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguous environments and to work well with people at all levels of the organization. * Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills. * Presence, positive attitude, and unyielding focus on excellent teamwork. * Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, diverse project needs, and tight timelines. * A passion for understanding metrics and analyzing user behavior to inform the success of products. Bonus points for being able to "pull" data yourself, which may include everything from querying databases to using software like Tableau, Google Analytics and others alike.
