Summary

As a Social Media Support Agent, you will be part of a team of specialists who represent the Thumbtack brand publicly through social media channels. As a brand ambassador you'll be a part of a tight-knit team monitoring & responding to comments, questions, or concerns on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. As an extension of your responsibilities you'll also reach out to customers via outbound phone calls or receive inbound support calls in order to obsess over our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to comments & complaints via social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and blog postings
  • Use the proper brand voice & terminology to interact on our pages
  • Inbound Support calls- as needed
  • Critical or escalated outbound calls
  • Identify issues, trends, and common problems facing our users
  • Flexibility to take on a wide range of small projects

Requirements

  • Strong and flexible writing abilities- can write formally and causally, using Thumbtack brand voice
  • Understanding of Public Relations and Brand perspective
  • 1+ years of Social Media Support experience
  • Positive attitude #unphasable

  • Fantastic judgement and decisions-making abilities
  • Independent thinker and problem solver
  • Creative thinking
  • Strong verbal communication with the team
  • The ability to work early mornings, nights & weekends
