Responsibilities
* Manage a team of professionals, including software developers, quality analysts, user experience researchers and business analysts on large-scale, custom-designed software development projects * Responsible for architecture, development and delivery of applications, including dividing and allocating tasks to team members * Acting as liaison between the client and development team, including coordinating with key business stakeholders to provide project updates * Oversee project activity, including managing project deliverables and milestones * Gathering requirements from business stakeholders and subsequently leading development teams in architecture, design details and technology and tool selection * Use Agile methodologies, including leading daily stand up meetings and team retrospectives, and providing guidance on Agile best practices * Responsible for building a development team, monitoring their performance and providing feedback as necessary
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field and five years of experience in the IT industry **Prior experience with:** * Managing and building a team of professionals including software developers, quality analysts, user experience researchers and business analysts on large-scale custom-designed software development projects * Customizing designed software development projects and overseeing project activity by managing project deliverables and milestones, and dividing and allocating tasks to team members * Leading architecture, development and delivery of software applications * Acting as liaison between the client and development team by coordinating with keybusiness stakeholders to provide project updates * Gathering requirements from business stakeholders, and leading development teams in architecture, design details and technology and tool selection * Using Agile methodologies including leading daily stand up meetings and team retrospectives, and providing guidance on Agile best practices * Building a development team, monitoring their performance and providing feedback as necessary * At least 80% travel throughout the U.S. required
