Summary
The Scion Group is growing and looking to add a Financial & Investment Analyst to its team. This position will be responsible for assisting acquisitions, asset management, investor relations, property operations and advisory services in matters of financial and investment analysis.
Responsibilities
**Acquisitions** * Assist with company growth and development strategies; * Provide analytical support in determining the feasibility of potential transactions; * Assist with building and analyzing pro-forma models; * Assist in capital raising efforts through the preparation of venture-level financial models, historical track record analysis and general marketing materials; * Assist with transaction due diligence by collecting, reviewing, and summarizing various property diligence reports, leases, property financial information, and other due diligence documents. **Asset Management & Investor Relations:** * Assist in building operating and capital budgets; * Review monthly financial performance reports with site staff and assist in the completion of monthly cash flow reports; * Assisting in preparing investor quarterly letters **Property Operations:** * Assist with the transition of newly acquired properties into the portfolio; * Assist in analyzing and tracking of community daily leasing velocity, leasing incentives and determining the feasibility of potential rate changes; * Aggregate portfolio-wide data and provide analysis of portfolio leasing and financial performance against available income and expense survey data and public-REIT data; **Advisory Services:** * Perform research of student housing markets in support of the on time delivery of reports; * Review market, campus and survey data and present written results; * Assist in the writing and production of proposals for prospective clients
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (business, finance, real estate, economics) with direct experience in real estate finance or analysis preferred; * Extremely strong Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation skills; * Excellent organization, written and verbal communications; * Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills
