The Nord Center has been Lorain County’s leader in mental health services since 1947. The Nord Center’s experienced mental health professionals have special expertise in working with children and adults who are survivors of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, members of the African-American and Hispanic communities, and those who suffer from dual diagnosis. Along with those services, The Nord Center works to give clients the backing they need with programs for supportive employment and supportive housing. The Nord Center also works with those facing every day stressors, such as divorce, loss of a loved one and financial difficulties.
