Lead Quality Engineer

* Lead troubleshooting taskforce team with manufacturing plant, raw material suppliers & our customers to resolve the most challenging quality issues and prevent recurrence through comprehensive problem solving methodologies. * Collect and analyze product QC data for complaint and baseline batches. * Identify potential root causes and validate the true root cause through data analysis and experimentation * Implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent future issues * Prepare presentations and reports to communicate investigation results to customer. * Lead daily meetings with customers throughout investigation to communicate progress and plans for resolution. Typically these meetings include engineers, section managers, Fab managers, and up to VP level staff at our customers. * Communicate investigation results across the Litho business to ensure that preventive actions are implemented at all sites and considered when developing new products * Collaborate with customers to implement effective corrective actions * Collaborate with a parallel team in the Cheonan South Korea plant to develop processes allowing rapid, efficient and effective response to customer complaints

**Education:** * Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering related discipline **Required Qualifications:** * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Litho business in a technical position (R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or Improvement Engineering) * Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quality engineer OR Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Process engineer, Raw Material engineer, Fab engineer or formulator * Experience working with customers or suppliers to resolve challenging technical problems under tight time deadlines * Experience using formal problem solving methodologies such as 8D, Kepner-Tregoe Problem Analysis, Apollo RCI, 5 why, FMEA or others **Preferred Qualifications:** * Chemical Engineering or Chemistry degree * Experience working in a semiconductor fab * Experience using JMP or other statistical tools * Experience working in an empowered team environment collaborating across functions * Experience working in a global team environment * Experience coaching and/or supervising others **Other Key Qualifications:** * Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong attention to detail * Demonstrated ability to solve challenging technical problems under tight deadlines * Strong data analysis skills
