C/C++ Software Engineer

• Plan, design, implement, and test features and improvements to the core of the Log Correlation Engine.
• Collaborate with the technical lead, Research, and QA teams to produce coherent and comprehensive software solutions.
• Work with log data, vulnerability data, and security logs to improve and expand existing capabilities.
• Develop innovative object-oriented, reusable, and stable code, and deliver solutions on schedule in an Agile environment.

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing multi-threaded applications with C and C++ in Unix environments.
• Experience with at least one major scripting language such as Bash, Perl, or Python.
• Experience using revision control, bug tracking, and code review tools.
• Strong debugging and analysis skills using tools such as GDB, Valgrind, and Wireshark.
• Experience with regular expressions and log data processing, analysis, and retrieval is preferred.
• Some experience with JSON, XML, JS, HTML5, and CSS is preferred.
